Value Engineering
Value Engineering (VE) in construction is simply known as the process of reducing project cost by eliminating unnecessary expenditures and/or changing design to achieve cost savings, while still maintaining project quality/value and meeting original design intent as closely as possible. Some contractors claim to provide valuable VE, but in reality using cheaper carpet and paint is far from valuable. As a result of other Cornerstone services which require our in-depth review and understanding of all aspects of each of our projects, Cornerstone can provide truly valuable VE ideas. Whether it’s a change in foundation design, structure type, construction means or methods, building composition materials, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and/or interior finishes, Cornerstone can provide the necessary feedback to Value Engineer your project in an effective manner.
